So, when I considered wearing this new bodysuit, I knew provisions were going to need to be made. Breastfeeding (along with age) can really do a number on the “girls”. I basically looked like I was wearing a really bad ice skating outfit. But, I hadn’t tried it on prior to the photoshoot and I quickly realized I needed to problem solve. Not that I’m that bothered by it - I actually love being in my forties and I accept that my body is not always going to be what it was when I was in my twenties.įirst of all, I originally planned to wear the bodysuit as the shirt. Now, my body is not quite the same as it was before having kids and now that I’m 42 years old. I had ordered a really beautiful lace bodysuit for my studio and I was dying to wear it. My dear photographer friend Melissa Stone and I decided we were going to photograph each other. It was time for me to do my own photoshoot. Knowing all of this, when writing posts for social media and entries for my blog, I realized the only professional photos I had of myself were either four years old, or I was pregnant. This means having lots of content that includes you - photos of you, stories about you and your life and your work, and even videos that show off your personality and educate people about what you teach and sharing what you love or believe in or care about.Īlso, it is so important to have professional photos and not just a phone snap! ![]() They want to get a glimpse into your life and see who you are.
